Why are British students revolting?
It’s a strange time to be at a British university, staff are losing their jobs and signs reading “fight the cuts” have been put up by students dismayed at the decreasing funding to their courses. This is University College Falmouth. Its 250 miles south –West of London but last Wednesday the student union sent two coaches full of students to protest on the streets of the capital. Read more

If Jarosław is to become Polish President, the country would have to go through the same ole discords between the government and the President. Russia in this case would have to keep ignoring the person of Polish President, while resetting the relationship with Polish government.
Lech Kaczyński became the President of Poland in 2005, having won the current Prime Minister Donald Tusk, and immediately proclaimed the creation of the Fourth Republic. First major prize in major U.S.-supported offensive in militant stronghold
ISLAMABAD - The army captured the strategically located hometown of Pakistan's Taliban chief Saturday after fierce fighting, officials said, snagging its first big prize in a major U.S.-backed offensive along the Afghan border.
Elsewhere in the northwest, a suspected U.S. missile killed 14 people, but apparently missed a top Taliban figure, authorities said. Read more
